With a little decluttering, we managed to eliminate the boxes (with the exception of the cat’s favorite box under the table), sorted through the junk mail, put the clothes where they belonged, and overall made the room more functional.

Apartment Pantry (Before)

Before, things were tossed in this pantry as if it were just another storage closet. Things were stored that were not being used and taking up valuable space for the things that were being used.

Apartment Pantry (After)

With just a little rearranging and relocating, this pantry now has more function and space. Things are grouped together for easy access. Ingredients used for baking are now on the top shelf, since those things are not used on a daily basis. Likewise, sauces, dressings and condiments are now on a shelf that is easy to get to.

Note: decluttering and organizing is a process. Seen here are the initial first stages of that process. Decisions of certain things that remained in these spaces still need to be made.
